본 키트는 하나의 생물학적 샘플에서 genomic DNA와 total RNA를 동시에 정제할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 먼저 샘플의 용해물(lysate)을 DNA spin column에 통과시켜 DNA를 선택적으로 분리한 후, 이어서 RNA column을 통해 RNA를 선택적으로 분리합니다.

일반적으로 생물학적 샘플 또는 정제된 총 핵산을 두 부분으로 나누어 각각 처리하는 방법과 달리, 본 키트는 하나의 전체 샘플에서 순수한 DNA와 RNA를 동시에 정제할 수 있다는 장점이 있습니다. 또한 다양한 종류의 동물 세포 및 조직을 소량의 샘플로도 처리할 수 있어 폭넓은 연구 분야에 활용할 수 있습니다.
